Schooling Rounds (show practices)

The August dates for Schooling Rounds have been cancelled due to conflicts with other Horse Shows.

  A new date for Schooling Rounds will be announced ASAP.

We just need a few more weeks of summer !!!

SHENFIELD RANCHES, in partnership with the Namao Ridge Riders Pony Club, came up with the idea of ‘Schooling Rounds’ to give green riders and green horses an opportunity to ride into a ring and school over a course of fences AS IF riding in a real show.  Classes are organized by Division and offered at several different heights of fences from poles on the ground to 3’6”.   Riders are asked to present themselves and their horses as if competing at a schooling show, but there will be no judge or ribbons.  Each rider will be called into the ring by an announcer and given up to three (3) minutes to school, practice and ‘get it right’ over a posted course for each class.

Hunter rounds from 'Poles on the Ground' to 2'6".

Jumper Rounds from 2'6" to 3'6".

Jumper Rounds starts approx. 2 pm.  Call to confirm.

15 rider limit in each division.

All riders must have a current AEF membership number.

All riders must sign a Waiver of Liability.

All riders must sign the Canadian Pony Club Acceptance of Risk Form if the rider IS NOT a Pony Club member.
