Given the current Hay Shortage, Shenfield Ranches is not accepting any new horses for Board at this time. 

SHENFIELD RANCHES offers outside and inside horse monthly boarding.

Monthly OUTSIDE horse board includes the following :

1. Stabling of the horse or horses in an outside pen or pasture without standing shelter.
2. Free feeding or hand feeding of hay one time per day to the horse or horses or feeding of alfalfa cubes two times per day to the horse or horses (with exception of pasture horses who are not feed hay during May to September.)

Monthly INSIDE horse board includes the following :

1. Stabling of the horse or horses in a box stall in the barn during the night .
2. Turn-out of the horse or horses in an outside pen during the day. 
3. The outside pen does not have standing shelter.
4. Feeding of hay to the horse or horses one times per day in the outside pen.
5. Feeding of alfalfa cubes to the horse and horses in the evening in their box stalls.

ALL horse board includes :

1. Use of the barn for tack storage and tacking up and down of the horse or horses.
2. Access to pasture and trails owned and leased by Shenfield Ranches.
3. Use of the indoor and outdoor riding arenas with exception when the arena is booked for events or clinics. 

Any other additional feed required by the horse or horses will be considered additional requested services. 

All additional requested services, such as special feed and care, show grooming, exercise, assistance with veterinarian and farrier, etc. will be invoiced to the horse owner at the end of each month. 

SUMMER RATES:  May to September

Horse Board \ Pasture - $150 \ month

Horse Board \ Pen - $170 \ month

Horse Board \ Stall – Not Available

WINTER RATES:  October to April

Horse Board \ Pen or Pasture \ No Cubes  $225 \ month

Horse Board \ Pen with Cubes  - $275 \ month

Horse Board \ Stall - Not Available

All Boarders will be bound by BILL 32, the ANIMAL KEEPERS ACT of the Province of Alberta.
